• Material: stainless steel 1.4301.
• GIS locking assemblies are connecting elements used to connect an axle, for example, an axle or motor shaft, with a drive wheel.
• This clamping assembly consists of three parts and allows a cylindrical shaft to be fixed within a cylindrical hole in the drive wheel.
• No shaft machining is required, i.e. no chavetero, no transverse hole, no thread, etc. The connection can be disassembled with an extractor.
• Minimum space required. M = Max Torque (New Mexico). Required tolerances: Axis: h8. Diameter of the part to be fastened: H8.  
• Mounting: The locking assembly must be mounted without lubrication to achieve the torques indicated above.
• The locking assembly must be completely in contact with the shaft. To achieve maximum torque, the shaft and hub must have sufficient strength (minimum yield strength 350 N / mm², e.g. C45).
• The locking assembly must not come into contact with any fixed component (p e.g. bearing or crankcase housing).
