VACUUM CHECK VALVE ISV-1/4, ISV-1/8 FESTO
ARTICLE NO. FESTO | Reference FESTO | Size | Required suction flow rate at -0.5 bar |

33970 | ISV-1/4 | G1/4 | 1.6 l/min |
Applications
For parallel mounting of several suction cups so that vacuum can occur if one or more valves do not establish hermetic contact with the part.
Fastening of bulk parts.
Air and energy saving.
Fastening only occurs if 100% contact is established.
Reliable vacuum.
Suction valve operation
The ISV valve is mounted between the suction assembly and the vacuum check valve.
If contact with the suction cup is null or partial during the vacuum generation process, the ISV valve automatically blocks the air sucked in by the corresponding valve.
If the suction cup contacts 100%, the vacuum is reconnected.
The ISV valve blocks the air passage the moment the part detaches from the suction cup.
1. If the suction cup does not establish the proper contact leaving the air passage free, the valve retainer closes the passage. In this position, air can only pass through the small drill at the front of the retainer.
2. If a part comes into contact with the suction cup, the air flow decreases, so the spring applies a force against the retainer and moves it forward. In this way the passage is open and in the suction cup there is again vacuum
