This magnetic position sensor consisting of two parts, sensor and magnetic placeholder, offers great mounting flexibility. The absence of shaft and bearings makes mounting much less sensitive to radial and axial application tolerances - separate sleeves are obsolete. Measurements can be made in transmission through any material other than ferromagnetic. The sensor is perfectly valid for use in harsh environments through fully encapsulated electronic devices.
