The hexagonal counter-thread (or marseille) reduced female / male is a fitting made of brass that allows to adapt the end of a tube or male accessory of smaller measure to another female of greater measure. It is formed by an outer threaded cylindrical end and another inner threaded end of smaller measure with external hexagonal plane for tightening.
